Selling books is like solving a puzzle. I love puzzles. There is something so satisfying in taking what looks like ill-fitted pieces that make little or no sense separately, and putting them together to create something amazing. Books don’t sell themselves. And unless you can afford to hire your own marketing agency, you’re probably struggling tokeep up. Why are you still trying to do this alone? Let me help you.

I created my eight-week, one-on-one author marketing coaching program after working in publishing and speaking with hundreds of authors. The foundation of an author platform is nearly the same for every author, but you’re probably stuck in the details of your unique marketing journey today. I can help!

It’s simple. The first step requires a quick call to decide if we think we’re a good match. This is a free, 30-minute call that helps me understand what you’ve been doing and to learn about your unique goals. Then we’ll pick the best day and time to met via Zoom for the next eight weeks. During each one-hour coaching session we’ll work on the steps necessary to help you build and grown your platform, to reach your unique author marketing goals.

What can you expect?

This is a done-with-you coaching program. Meeting face-to-face via Zoom is almost like meeting in person. It gives us the ability to share screens as we work. Sometimes, there will be tasks that only need to be done once, so I might take care of those for you. Most of the time, we’ll work together on a task. And every week you’ll have homework.

We meet the same day and time for each coaching session. It’s important to me that you’re as committed to this process as I am. There’s a lot of work to do and we won’t want to waste time rescheduling.

What’s covered?

The framework for my Author Marketing Coaching program covers the basics of establishing a foundation. How much we do an what needs to be done beyond this, depends on what you’ve already done, your goals, and the audience you’re trying to reach. We may spend a lot of time working on something that you’re struggling with. We may find a solution to that same problem quickly, allowing us to move on to more advanced topics. Let’s say you’ve mastered social media marketing, but you’d really like to expand your email marketing. We ca do that.
